About Me
Welcome! My name is Lisa Burke. I love helping people learn ways to reduce stress and move forward in their lives. In my spare time I love spending time with family, friends and my dog. I enjoy spending time outside. I have a passion for traveling and exploring new places and cultures. I also love finding new coffee shops wherever I go.
My Approach
I like to use a client centered approach. At the first session we will explore what brought you to therapy and decide together what will work for you. I often incorporate mindfulness, meditation and yoga techniques, especially for stress reduction and to improve mood. We will work together to create positive change in your life.
My Experience
I have over 25 years of experience helping adults and teens navigate life's challenges. I am licensed in Wisconsin. I also have additional training as a Mindfulness/Meditation teacher as well as RYT 200 hours in Yoga and Yoga Therapy from the Himalayan Yoga Retreat and Ayurveda Center in Siem Ream, Cambodia.
